December Google 2020 Core Update rolling out – Web media infotech

Google confirms a new core update, the December 2020 core update. This is the third core update of 2020, as the first update was January 2020 core update and the second one was May 2020 core update.

Historically, every few months Google release a core Google algorithm update. Now after seven months since May 2020 core update, which was released on May 4, 2020. But this Google Rollout took a bit longer than previous updates to roll out.

Google tweeted announcing the December Google 2020 Core Update, where Google said “later today, we are releasing a broad core algorithm update, as we do several times per year. It is called the December 2020 Core Update.”

Google Update Rollout started at 1 pm ET 

Google has updated that it has begun rolling this December Google 2020 Core Update at around 1 pm ET. It was two and a half hours after Google said it would roll out.

Google stated “the December 2020 Core Update is now rolling outlive. As is typical with these updates, it will typically take about one to two weeks to fully roll out.”

Previous Google updates 2020

The most recent previous core update 2020 was the May 2020 core update, that update was big and broad and took certain weeks to fully roll out. Before that was the January 2020 core update, you would have studied about those update earlier. One prior was September 2019 core update, but there were no such changes so considered as the weaker to many SEOs and webmasters. It didn’t have a big of an impact as previous core updates. Even Google released an update in November, but it was for local rankings.

What to do if you are affected with this update?

Google also advised on what to consider if you are negative with impacted by the core update in the past. There aren’t specific actions to recover. If you are affected by negative rankings it doesn’t signal anything is wrong with your pages. However, Google has offered a list of queries to consider if your site hit by December Google 2020 Core Update. Google say that you see a bit of recovery between core updates but the biggest change you would be able to see after another core update.
